After Chairman KC returned from treatment, it has made the policy and program public and passed a budget of Rs 534.53 million for the fiscal year 2083/084.
The municipality has allocated about 40 percent of the total budget for capital and 60 percent for current. The budget has given priority to roads, electricity, physical infrastructure, health, education, drinking water, agriculture, animal husbandry and communication.
It is mentioned that Rs 112.2 million will be received from the federal government as financial equalization grant, Rs 147.23 million from revenue sharing, Rs 19.3 million from complementary grant and Rs 187.5 million from conditional grant.
He informed that the Karnali Provincial Government will receive a fiscal equalization grant of Rs 13.328 million, a revenue sharing grant of Rs 2.111 million, a conditional grant of Rs 2.352 million, a supplementary grant of Rs 1.18 million, and a special grant of Rs 50 million. The rural municipality will collect Rs 5.7 million from internal revenue and use Rs 10 million from bank balance in the budget.
