One person died when a jeep heading from Jagadulla Rural Municipality to Jumla met with an accident on Sunday afternoon. Police have said that initial information has been received that some passengers were injured in the accident.
According to DSP Anilraj Giri, Chief of the District Police Office, Dolpa, the accident took place at 1:40 pm in Jagadulla Rural Municipality-4. He said that a police team led by Police Inspector Padam Rawal has been mobilized to the scene.
The identity of the deceased and the condition of the injured are yet to be revealed.
