A Hiace vehicle accident has occurred in the Sangetada area of Dailekh under the Karnali Highway. According to initial information, the Force Hiace (K 02-001 Kha 1055) heading from Surkhet to Kalikot fell into the Karnali River.
A team from the Dailekh District Police Office is reaching the scene of the accident. Clear information about the rescue and additional details has not been received yet. According to the police, the cause of the accident, number of passengers and details of the damage are being collected. The incident is located in Chamundabindrasaini Municipality-7 of Khailek.
Information Officer and Police Inspector of the District Police Office, Hrishikesh Gautam, informed that a police team has reached the scene and that they are going under the leadership of DSP Shravan Kumar BK.
According to him, the general public from Achham Patti had informed the police after seeing the vehicle fall. Gautam said that the river is about three to four hundred meters below the scene of the accident.
