There has been a problem in retrieving the body found in the gorge of Suligad River in Chhepka, Shey-Phoksundo Rural Municipality-8, Dolpa. The Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepal Army teams that reached the incident site from the district headquarters Dunai on Sunday have failed to retrieve the body despite continuous efforts, the police said.

According to Anil Raj Giri, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, information was received about the body of an unknown person in the river around 11 am on Sunday.

As soon as the information was received, a team of security personnel from the district headquarters tried to retrieve the body, but it could not be retrieved, so a letter was written to the Home Ministry demanding trained manpower. It is said that the difficulty in retrieving the body was due to geographical difficulties and cold water.
