In Salyan, which has 10 local levels, including three municipalities and seven rural municipalities, nine local levels have brought a budget of 5.88 billion 71 million for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/084.

According to the Local Government Operation Act, the nine local levels of Salyan have brought a budget of 5.88 billion 71 million in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal and Village Assembly on Asad 10.
While preparing to bring the budget from the village assembly, only Kalimati Rural Municipality was unable to bring the budget after the municipality chairman Dan Bahadur Khatri was injured in a motorcycle accident.

Sharada Municipality brought 1.36 billion, Bagchaur Municipality brought 1.36 billion, and 772.3 million, Bangad Kupinde Municipality 804.6 million, Tribeni 592.1 million, Kumakh 539.7 million, Chhatreswari 537.6 million, Kapurkot 465.8 million, Darma 421.7 million and Siddhakumakh Rural Municipality 392.9 million.

Sharda Municipality, which has brought the highest budget, has allocated 669 million for current expenditure and 691.1 million for capital expenditure, Bangad Kupinde Municipality has allocated 445.5 million for current expenditure and 359 million for capital expenditure, Bagchaur Municipality has allocated 539.8 million for current expenditure and 232.4 million for capital expenditure, while Tribeni, Kumakh, Chhatreswari, Darma, Kapurkot, Siddhakumakh have allocated 30 to 35 percent of the total budget for capital expenditure.

Local levels have prioritized education, health, drinking water, agriculture and physical infrastructure as in the past. Prakash Bhandari, the mayor of Sharda Municipality, which has allocated the largest budget, said that education, health and drinking water have been prioritized. He informed that 500 million rupees have been allocated for safe and household drinking water.

Dinesh Poudel, the chief administrative officer of Kapurkot Rural Municipality, said that priority has been given to safe citizen housing, child-friendly local governance and pesticide control. He informed that 15 million rupees have been allocated for safe citizen housing and 45 million rupees for child-friendly local governance.

Meanwhile, Purushottam Acharya, the deputy mayor of Bangad Kupinde Municipality, said that the budget has prioritized quality education, health and agriculture, sanitation and physical infrastructure as in the past.
