The Karnali Provincial Government has allocated Rs 2.46 billion 49.74 billion for the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment in the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84. Presenting the budget for the upcoming year, Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Rajiv Bikram Shah informed that Rs 538.2 million has been allocated for the development of the tourism sector in Karnali. According to Minister Shah, Rs 210 million has been allocated for the infrastructure development of Raratal in Mugu, Kankrebihar in Surkhet, Kupindedaha in Salyan and Syaarputal in Rukum West. He also informed that Rs 50 million has been allocated for the expansion of Surkhet Airport. Similarly, Shah informed that Rs 209 million has been allocated for the Climate Change Resilience Program, Rs 271.5 million for the conservation of watershed areas, Rs 41 million for the Youth Startup Program, Rs 20 million for entrepreneurship and skill development, and Rs 10 million for small industry promotion.

Similarly, Rs 2.52 billion has been allocated for the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives.
