The Bajura-Dhulachaur road section under the Karnali Corridor has been operational after three days. The Himali Yuva Club of Bajura had blocked the road since 10 pm on Wednesday following a dispute between the residents of Humla and Bajura over the ownership of the Ranisain area.

After the road was closed, about 80 vehicles, including buses, trucks and small vehicles, entering and leaving Humla were stopped on the road, while about 300 passengers were stranded.

The road was opened with the active participation of the local administrations of both districts, said Humla Chief District Officer Tek Kumar Regmi. He informed that the stranded passengers have reached their destinations after the road was opened since 8 am on Saturday.
