Prem Bahadur KC of Sannitribeni 8 Mumra has been elected unopposed as the chairman of the first convention of the National Independent Party (NISP) Kalikot.
KC was elected unopposed from the convention held in Manma on Saturday. He was also the district chairman before that. Dinesh Bahadur Shahi was elected as the vice-chairman, Bhupendra Jung Shahi as the secretary, and Jeevan Bahadur Shahi as the joint secretary.
Similarly, while Pabitra Jaisi and Kalasha Shahi were elected unopposed as the inclusive members, Dhaniram Dhamala was elected in Constituency No. 1 and Dinesh Sanjyal in Constituency No. 2, said Jeevan Devkota, a member of the publicity department. According to him, the NISP organized the district convention on Saturday after concluding the convention in all 9 local levels of Kalikot.
