Sushila Roka, a 19-year-old woman in labor from Musikot Municipality-14 in Rukum West, has been rescued by a Nepal Army helicopter due to complicated labor problems.
She was rescued on Thursday in coordination with the Ministry of Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities and Social Security and brought to the Provincial Hospital in Surkhet for treatment. She was rescued under the air rescue program conducted with the aim of providing timely treatment to pregnant and postpartum women in remote areas who are at risk of death.
