The municipal police were strongly condemned on social media after a basket of kafal was thrown on the road by Dhamila Chaulagain in Birendranagar.
The municipality has informed that attention has been drawn to the misbehavior of the municipal police against a woman walking on the road in front of the bus park carrying a basket of kafal. The municipality has also decided to take immediate action against the municipal police who misbehaved. Mayor Mohan Maya Dhakal said that Rs 10,000 has been provided as assistance to the Kalikot Chaulagain.
Similarly, the people's representatives and employees of the municipality have also purchased kafal worth Rs 1,500. Mayor Dhakal said that the incident was not intentional. Mayor Dhakal also informed that sidewalk management is underway in Birendranagar.
