Twelve people were injured in a jeep accident in Aathbiskot Municipality-9 of Rukum West on Tuesday evening. The jeep was heading towards Maidanda from Radi Bazaar on the inner road section in Sundarpani in Aathbiskot at around 6:15 pm.
According to DSP Bed Bahadur Poudel, Chief of the District Police Office, all 12 passengers in the jeep were injured. Among them, 45-year-old Jassi Damai of Aathbiskot-10, 16-year-old Bhupendra Satyal of Aathbiskot-8, and 23-year-old Mahendra Gaire, who suffered head injuries, are undergoing treatment in serious condition.
‘As soon as we received information about the incident, police were deployed under the leadership of a police inspector and the injured were rescued and taken to the municipal hospital in Radi for treatment,’ said DSP Poudel.
