The Tilagufa Municipality has honored the medal winners of the district-level President's Running Shield with cash. The municipality has given cash incentives to 31 medal winners and 80 participating players in the 16th district-level National Running Shield.
18 players from Tilagufa have been selected for the Karnali Province level sports. Most of them are athletes.
Mayor Shankar Prasad Upadhyay said that the gold medal winners in the Running Shield were given Rs 5,000, the silver winners Rs 3, the bronze winners Rs 2, and the participants Rs 1,000 per person.
