The police have arrested the absconding accused in a rape case after 14 years. The police have arrested 30-year-old Mohan Bik alias Hom Bahadur Chalaune of Chhatreshwari-6.
He was arrested while hiding at home, said Devraj Bhatrai, Information Officer and Police Inspector of the District Police Office, Salyan.
He informed that the Chalaune has been sent to jail for legal action. According to him, Chalaune was absconding after raping a woman in 2068.
