Meena Budhachhetri, 33, a resident of Nalgad Municipality-8 in Jajarkot, who was involved in an auto accident, has been rescued by helicopter and brought to Surkhet after experiencing complex obstetric problems.
She was on her way home from a check-up at Athabishkot Hospital in Rukum when she met with an auto accident on Monday. Hospital sources have said that she was referred to the Provincial Hospital in Surkhet for further treatment after her health deteriorated.
According to Jajarkot youth leader Chhabi Panta, Meena had reached Athabishkot Hospital in Rukum for a routine check-up and met with an auto accident. He said that she was airlifted to Surkhet after her condition became serious after the accident.
According to doctors, the health condition of both the mother and the unborn child is critical and requires immediate transfer to a well-equipped hospital for further treatment.
