Three people from Jajarkot who were injured in a cooking gas cylinder leak have been sent to Nepalgunj. Those injured in the fire caused by the gas leak were sent to Nepalgunj on Sunday for further treatment.
They were sent by a Nepal Army helicopter at their own expense. They were sent from Jajarkot to Nepalgunj at a cost of Rs 450,000.
The incident took place at around 10 am on Sunday in the kitchen of Thaluprasad Jaishi in Chhepka, Nalgad Municipality-2. The District Police Office, Jajarkot, has said that the fire suddenly broke out when his wife, 42-year-old Maya Jaishi, was lighting a fire with a lighter.
Maya Jaishi, her 22-year-old son Ganesh Gautam, and her 37-year-old sister Rupa Jaishi were injured in the fire, said Police Inspector Ekka Bahadur Nepali of the District Police Office, Jajarkot.
