Karnali Province Chief Minister Yamalal Kandel has directed ministers and secretaries to improve the old working style and work in a result-oriented manner.
He gave this directive while expressing dissatisfaction over the delay and sluggishness in budget implementation at a discussion program organized at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Birendranagar on Monday.
‘You should find the answer to the question of why the budget could not be implemented effectively,’ he said, ‘It is not your responsibility to point out the problem, but to solve it.’ Stating that development work has been affected due to the old working style, he urged them to change the way they work.
‘Improve the old style, learn to work in a new way,’ he said, ‘The people want results.’ Expressing dissatisfaction with the trend of files being blocked in the office, he directed them to ensure that files are not blocked unnecessarily in any ministry. ‘Why are files being blocked? End this trend immediately,’ he said.
