Prime Minister Sushila Karki has offered prayers at the famous Chandannath Temple in Karnali. She offered prayers for 15 minutes at the temple. Tight security arrangements were made by the Armed Police Force, Nepal Police and Nepal Army in the area around the temple for the Prime Minister's prayers. 

The Guthi Committee has stated that Prime Minister Karki's offering prayers at the Chandannath Temple, which is established as a major religious tourist destination in Karnali, will send a positive message of tourism promotion. 

Chief District Officer Deepak Paudal said that Prime Minister Karki's Jumla schedule has ended after offering prayers for 15 minutes at the Chandannath Temple. He said, 'The Prime Minister has offered prayers at the temple, praying for the welfare of the nation and the peace of the Nepali people. This is a positive issue for the entire Jumla population.'

Prime Minister Karki had set out on a Karnali visit to thank the security forces, employees and voters for supporting her in holding the elections peacefully. She also visited Rara Lake and the Karnali Technical College in Jumla.

She also discussed with the security chiefs of Mugu and Jumla. She highly praised the activeness seen in the election and thanked the security agencies, employees and voters. Prime Minister Karki, who reached Jumla via a Nepali Army helicopter, stayed at the 24th Battalion Headquarters of the Nepali Army.
