Helicopters will be used to collect ballot boxes from 23 polling stations in Upper Dolpa, located in the northern part of the Himalayan district of Dolpa.

Helicopters will be used to safely transport ballot boxes to the geographically remote Upper Dolpa. Chief District Officer Junu Hamal said that the helicopter has arrived and that the transportation of ballot boxes from all polling stations in Upper Dolpa will begin from Friday morning.

The Chief Electoral Officer's Office has stated that the voting was conducted in a clean, dignified and peaceful manner in Dolpa, which has a total of 70 polling stations, both permanent and temporary. According to him, a total of 66.16 percent of votes were cast in Dolpa, while the office said that 15,956 votes were cast in numerical terms. Of the total voters in Dolpa, 24,115 were registered, 8,159 were not cast.
