The voter turnout in the House of Representatives elections held in the Himalayan district of Humla was 65.36 percent. Despite the geographical remoteness, cold weather and mountainous difficulties, voters participated enthusiastically in the vote.

According to Chief Electoral Officer Neelkantha Baral, 11,409 are male and 11,058 are female voters. Voters from remote villages and settlements of Humla had reached the polling stations since morning and cast their votes in queues. Although there were difficulties in movement in some places due to snowfall, the administration has stated that voting was conducted peacefully in most centers.
The security agencies had made strict arrangements to conduct the election in a safe, fair and fear-free environment. The voting was conducted under a joint security cordon of the Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force.
After the voting, the Chief Electoral Officer's Office has stated that the counting process will begin only after all the ballot boxes are received, as ballot boxes have not arrived from 63 centers except for the Sunkhani Primary School Halji polling center.
Local stakeholders have said that the enthusiastic participation shown by voters, despite the challenging geographical conditions of the Himalayan district, has further strengthened people's faith in the democratic process.
