Surkhet has seen a 57 percent voter turnout. While 70,167 votes were cast in Constituency No. 1 of the district, 73,256 votes were cast in Constituency No. 2, informed Lal Bahadur Gurung, Chief of the Provincial Election Office.

The number of female voters is higher in both the constituencies. In Constituency No. 1, there were 40,619 female voters, while 29,476 male voters cast their votes. Similarly, in Constituency No. 2, there were 40,437 female voters, while 32,919 male voters cast their votes. There were 248,943 voters in the district.

The District Police Office, Surkhet, has stated that voting took place peacefully in the district.

There were 242 polling stations in Surkhet, including two temporary ones, and 305 polling stations, including three temporary ones. 

There were 122,902 voters in Surkhet 1, while there were 127,668 voters in 2.

Votes from polling stations near the district have already reached the counting center, while transportation from distant centers is underway.

The Provincial Election Office has informed that 55 percent of the votes have been cast across Karnali Province.
