Nepal Police Highway Safety and Traffic Management Office, Karnali Province, Surkhet, has provided financial assistance of Rs 50,000 for the treatment of national women's football team captain Sabitra Bhandari.

Karnali Province Office Chief Superintendent of Police SP Mukunda Prasad Rijal said that 117 traffic police officers working across the province have voluntarily contributed financially. 

‘We have contributed the little amount we can,’ he said, ‘With everyone’s little help, we have sent it to his QR.’
