Health Minister Sudha Sharma Gautam has said that the government is working on giving priority to the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences. She said that initiatives are being taken to make it a priority in the upcoming budget as well.
While inspecting the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital, Jumla on Tuesday, Minister Gautam said that she is always ready to solve the problems seen in the institute.
She also monitored the multi-year academic building of the institute, which is being built 6 kilometers away from the district headquarters, Khalanga. She said that the under-construction building should not be left incomplete and that after returning to Kathmandu, she will call banks and corporate houses to create an investment environment. She said, "The government will invest. Even if it is with additional support, it is imperative to complete the construction of the building."
Health Minister Gautam called Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Madhav Chaulagain from the educational building construction site, Chere Chaur, and urged him to build a 6-kilometer road.
