There are only 40 voters in 6th village of Shey-Phoksundo rural municipality in Dolpa district of Himali district.

In the February 21 House of Representatives elections, only forty voters are registered at the polling station in Phat village.

The geographically remote ward has a voter list of 40 people, including 21 men and 19 women, said District Election Officer Dilkrishna Shrestha.

Similarly, in the wards with fewer voters, there are 64 voters in Dolpobudwa Rural Municipality-2 Kalang, 96 voters in She-Phoksundo Rural Municipality-7 Ku village, and 83 voters in Charkatangsong Rural Municipality-2 Pungdabagar.

Out of a total of 68 polling stations, the least voters are in Phat village and the most are in Thulibheri Municipality-6 Thargaun. There are 938 voters in Thargaun. Then there are the most voters in Tripurakot in Tripurasundari Municipality-1. Where there are 899 voters.

Since the three municipalities of Upper Dolpa are not yet connected to the national road network, it takes up to a week to reach the district headquarters from Dunai. Due to their geographically remote location, it takes up to two days to reach from one ward to another in some wards of Upper Dolpa.
