Twenty-six polling stations in the mountainous district of Dolpa have been placed on the highly sensitive list. Out of a total of 68 polling stations, 26 have been placed on the highly sensitive list.

District Election Officer Dilkrishna Shrestha informed that 26 polling stations in the district have been listed as highly sensitive, 24 as sensitive and 18 as general.

According to him, 23 polling stations have been listed as highly sensitive due to geographical and security challenges and three polling stations have been listed as politically sensitive.

Dolpa, which has only one constituency for the House of Representatives, has a total of 24,115 voters. Of these, 12,187 are female and 11,928 are male voters.

Dolpa, which has eight local levels, has more female voters than male voters.

Most of the polling stations listed as highly sensitive geographically are in Upper Dolpa.

Geographically, Dolpa, the largest district in Nepal, has a very low number of voters.
