Candidate Budha's determination to bring the airport into operation

Nepali Communist Party candidate Dhan Bahadur Budha has announced that he will resign from his post if the Masinechaur Airport cannot be brought into operation.

He said this while addressing the election mobilization committee formation program in Tripurasundari Municipality on Tuesday.

It took 29 years to build the airport located in Ward No. 7. The construction work was completed with an investment of about 290 million rupees from the state. The airport has not been operational even after five years.

The election to the House of Representatives is scheduled for 21 Falgun. Candidate Budha has expressed his intention to resign from his post if he is not able to operate the airport before being elected. Along with this, he also claimed that his victory in the upcoming election is assured and only a formal announcement is yet to be made.

Recalling that the people of Dolpali have won him elections three times because of his good work, he also made it clear that he is ready to face any punishment if anyone presents evidence of corruption while he was an MP and minister.

He expressed his commitment to ensure a budget for the construction of the Lasicap-Sisaul road section in the Bheri Corridor and move forward.
