Omendra KC, who has filed his candidacy as an independent candidate, has expressed his commitment to the overall development of Dolpa and to free it from state neglect.
Releasing the commitment letter on Sunday, KC expressed his commitment to get rid of the main problems of Dolpa such as education, health, roads, employment, etc.
Along with this, he also said that he would take the initiative to eliminate this kind of discrimination as he felt that the state had neglected the remote Himalayan district of Dolpa under various pretexts including development and construction.
He also said that if he is elected, he will raise the voice of the district in the House of Representatives.
He is the only independent candidate in Dolpa, which has only one constituency of the House of Representatives, and has received the 'pressure cooker' election symbol.
