736 people have benefited from a free health camp conducted in Kapurkot Rural Municipality.
736 people benefited from the two-day camp organized by Kapurkot Rural Municipality and with the technical support of Rapti Eye Hospital Tulsipur and Brinoj Ear Health Community Service Center Nepalgunj.
The camp, which was organized to provide various types of health services to the residents of the municipality near their homes, treated those with eye, nose, ear and throat problems.
Dinesh Poudel, Chief Administrative Officer of Kapurkot Rural Municipality, said that 535 people with eye problems and 201 people with ear, nose and throat problems received services at the camp. According to him, 491 women and other men received services at the two-day camp. He informed that 51 people with eye, nose and ear problems underwent surgery.
Kapurkot Rural Municipality Chairman Durga Bahadur Pun said that the free camp was organized to end the compulsion of locals from remote settlements of the municipality to go to Tulsipur and Nepalgunj in Dang for specialist services if they have eye, nose, ear and throat problems.
