SP Sudhir Raj Shahi, Chief of Police at the District Police Office, Surkhet, said that they participated in the written examination after passing the initial health check and other prescribed criteria.
For the election police, Surkhet received more than double the quota. Out of the 1,860 election police officers required in the district, only 4,273 candidates applied. Of these, 3,259 candidates have participated in the written examination.
