Tek Bahadur Pun, 60, died after being crushed by a falling stone while constructing a road from Shiva Basic School to Khanigaun in Bangad Kupinde Municipality-10.
Pun was seriously injured after being crushed by a stone while digging a road on Friday. He was being taken to Nepalgunj for treatment, said Ward Chairman of Bangad Kupinde Municipality-10 Motilal Gharti.
According to him, Pun was crushed by a stone falling from the side while digging from below to build a wall on the roadside. Chairman Gharti informed that Pun's body has been postmortem at Chhinchu Hospital and cremation has begun. He said that the road construction work has been stopped after the death of the worker.
