A woman from Narharinath-1, Kotbada, has died after falling from a cliff while returning home after taking her mother-in-law to Koseli for Maghi Tihar.
On Thursday afternoon, 24-year-old Apsara Kathayat died after falling off a cliff in the Raku Adheri Khola while returning home after carrying Maghi rice, yams and roti to her maternal uncle Sabita Kathayat Adhikari, said Ganesh Bista, an accountant at the local Nandadevi Campus. According to him, Apsara slipped and fell on the spot around 3 pm on Thursday while returning home after carrying Maghi rice in Lusa village.
Relatives pulled the body from the cliff and took it home at 7 pm. Apsara's husband, Dhir Bahadur Kathayat, who hails from Raskot-7, is an accountant at the local Nandadevi Secondary School. The deceased has two minor children.
