Twice as many people have applied to the Election Police for the upcoming House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21 in Jumla than were requested.
According to the quota, 974 election police officers are required in the Armed Police Force and Nepal Police. But here 1,818 people have applied for the election police. The quota for the recruitment of election police officers in the district was set at 878 Nepal Police and 96 Armed Police Force.

Most of the applicants for the election police are in the age group of 25 to 35. He said that even if there are two more days in districts where the applications are less than the quota, there is no need to apply for Jumla by extending the deadline. According to him, the selection will start from Magh 5.
After that, the selection will be completed by Magh 9 through written and oral tests. Applications have been submitted to the Election Police by current and former police officers who participated in previous elections.
