The Himalayan district of Dolpa has got a female Chief District Officer. "This is the first time in the history of the district that we have a female Chief District Officer," said outgoing Chief District Officer Bhimraj Koirala.
In a notification issued on Monday, the Ministry of Home Affairs has appointed Junu Hamal Dhakal as the Chief District Officer of Dolpa. Dhakal was previously working in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
