Chief Administrative Officer Dinayak Gharti said that the rural municipality distributes allowances every three months by visiting the settlements.
The Raute community living in Lamna, Lekbesi Municipality-7, Surkhet, has received three months of social security allowance. Gurans Rural Municipality reached the settlement on Saturday and distributed the allowance to 137 people.
A team of Gurans Rural Municipality Chairman, Vice Chairman and Lekwesi Municipality Mayor and Deputy Mayor reached the settlement and distributed the allowance. Chief Administrative Officer Dinayak Gharti said that the rural municipality visits the settlement every three months and distributes the allowance. According to him, social security allowance has been distributed at the rate of Rs 12,000 per person for three months.
He said that the allowance will help Rautes who are preparing to celebrate Maghi with their shopping for Maghi. The Raute community is a citizen of Gurans Rural Municipality-8.
Since Gurans Rural Municipality provided identity cards in 2075 BS, Gurans Rural Municipality has been distributing the social security amount regardless of where they live.
