Two people have died in a jeep accident in Jajarkot. The jeep (Karnali Province 02-001 Cha 1327) heading from Pajaru to Thalah met with an accident on the inner road section at Baharnakhola, Chhedagar Municipality-8, around 11 am on Friday.
The District Police Office, Jajarkot, has informed that two people died on the spot after the jeep fell 150 meters off the road due to brake failure. The deceased have been identified as 70-year-old Nandakala Adhikari and 28-year-old Raju Adhikari of Chhedagar-9, Pajaru.
Police Inspector Sudhir Kumar Khadka of the District Police Office, Jajarkot said that four people were injured in the accident. According to him, the condition of the injured is moderate. The injured have been sent to the city hospital for treatment.
