After the government opened the election police for the House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21, he also reached the district police on Friday to apply. Tekendra was deployed at the polling station as a temporary policeman in the 2079 election. According to the Election Police Recruitment, Selection and Appointment Committee, 974 election police officers are being recruited in the district. Of which 878 will be recruited by the Nepal Police and 96 by the Armed Police Force.
Police Inspector Shalikram Khanal informed that the recruitment process has been moved forward by prioritizing local youth to strengthen peace and security during the election. According to Police Inspector Khanal, 55 people have applied on the first day. According to him, 35 men and 20 women applied for election police on the first day.
