Karmacharya has donated blood for the 185th time, breaking his own previous record. He had donated blood for the 184th time in Kalika Rural Municipality of Rasuwa last October.

Premsagar Karmacharya donates blood for the 185th time

Premsagar Karmacharya, Nepal's most volunteer centenarian blood donor, reached Jajarkot District Hospital on Thursday and donated blood for the 185th time.

Karmacharya has donated blood for the 185th time, breaking his own previous record. He had donated blood for the 184th time in Kalika Rural Municipality of Rasuwa last Asoj. 

After donating blood, Karmacharya urged the government to provide the donated blood to the patients free of charge. 

Similarly, Kali Bahadur Khatri, Chief of the District Coordination Committee Jajarkot, said that although donations can be of many types, the most important donation is blood donation. He mentioned that it is difficult to recruit volunteer blood donors due to lack of public awareness at the present time.

Similarly, Ward No. 3 Chairman of Bheri Municipality, Lila Bahadur Shah, pledged to provide Rs 100,000 to establish a blood transfusion center in Jajarkot district. 

Nepal Volunteer Blood Donor Society Jajarkot District Branch Chairman Prem Bahadur Oli informed that various campaigns are being conducted to establish a blood transfusion center in Jajarkot.
