The Nepali Communist Party (NCP) has organized a motorcycle rally in Musikot, the district headquarters of Rukum West.

A rally was organized on Thursday to promote the 'Ekta Sandesh Sabha' to be organized at Barahatakura Ground in Khalanga, Musikot Municipality-1 next Saturday.

The rally was organized from Machhimi, Musikot-3, via the Mid-Hill Highway, Serigaun, and then to Salle via Khalanga Bazaar in Musikot-1. NCP Rukum West Coordinator Govinda Roka said that the rally was organized to promote the program being prepared to be organized next Saturday.

Coordinator Roka informed that the program has been scheduled for Saturday's 'Ekta Sabha' to be addressed by party coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal and co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal.

After the former Maoists united with various parties to form the NCP, former MP from this region Janardan Sharma formed a separate party, and the biggest impact of this is seen in Rukum West. After the former Maoist leaders and activists were divided into two sides, both sides are trying to demonstrate power through various means and influence the outcome of the upcoming elections in their favor.
