Triveni Rural Municipality-1 in Salyan has distributed uniforms to 283 basic school children.
Uniforms have been distributed to 283 students of Nirajan Basic, Siddhagufa, Saraswati, Siddhadevi, Janasahyog, and Balkalyan Basic Schools in Ward 1 of Triveni Rural Municipality of Salyan. The municipality has distributed uniforms to students from Child Development to Grade 5.
The Chief Administrative Officer of the rural municipality, Khum Bahadur KC, said that warm uniforms and tracksuits were distributed after children from economically weak families faced problems due to the cold.
The uniforms were distributed to school children as per the ward's annual program. He said that there is a program to distribute warm uniforms to schools in other wards of the municipality as well.
