Pregnant Binakumari Budha, 24, a resident of Rasi village in Tripurasundari Municipality-2, went into labor three days ago. There is no reliable health post in the village and she had to be taken to the hospital as soon as possible. It is a two-hour walk from Rasi village to the district hospital.

Since she had to be taken to the hospital, the family members made preparations. Since the dirt road reached the village and there was no regular vehicle, they had to be taken to the hospital on a stretcher. Then the relatives took her halfway.

She had to be taken to the hospital as soon as possible and due to the shortage of manpower, an army team working in the Sangram Shardul Gulma, which is stationed to protect the She-Phoksundo National Park, immediately reached there. The army team that arrived in a hurry carried her and took her to the district hospital on time. She has now delivered safely. According to hospital sources, the health condition of both the mother and the child is good. The army has also thanked the family after the pregnant woman was saved by being taken to the hospital on time.

Similarly, some time ago, 25-year-old Dhanu Bohara of Tripurasundari Municipality-9 was seriously injured when a stone suddenly fell from above near the Suligard waterfall near Phoksundo Lake and hit her head. Immediately after that, a team of locals and the army rescued him and took him to the district hospital.

Last Monday, the army team working in Gulma and a team of students studying at Tripura Secondary School cleaned the famous Shaktipeeth Tripura Sundari Temple and also did the work of writing on the walls. Along with this, information was also taken about the archaeological importance of the temple.
