A fire broke out at the snack shop of 45-year-old Nandalal Roka of Dhodchaur, Siddhakumakh Rural Municipality-3, causing damage worth over Rs. 200,000.

The fire broke out at the shop on Monday night due to an electrical short circuit. 

The fire destroyed the tables, refrigerators, utensils, and items for sale at the snack shop, said Police Inspector Prem KC, Information Officer of the District Police, Salyan.

Police deployed from the Dhodchaur police station brought the fire under control at night, and no further damage was caused, he said. The police said the fire caused damage worth Rs. 200,000.
