The Nepali Communist Party (NCP) Salyan has recommended the names of three candidates for the direct election to the House of Representatives to be held on February 21.

The party meeting held in the district headquarters Khalanga recommended the names of Prakash Jwala, Tek Bahadur Basnet and Ramesh Malla.

Youth leader and former district president of the Unified Socialist Party, Ramesh Kumar Gautam, said that the party meeting recommended Dhan Bahadur Pariyar for the Dalit seat and Sita Bista Basnet for the women's seat.

He informed that the names of Umakanta Sharma from Khas Arya, Pavitra Bik from Dalit, Pramod Kumar Shrestha from Janajati and Prema Adhikari for the women's seat were recommended for the proportional representation. He said that the name of Ratna Bahadur Wali was recommended for the National Assembly seat.
