Four people, including the driver, were injured in a van accident in Jagadulla Rural Municipality of Dolpa.
On Monday evening, a pickup van bearing the number 02-001 Cha 1020 of Karnali Province, coming from Jagadulla Rural Municipality-6, Jhyakot, towards Balasa, crashed due to brake failure, said Tapendra Budhamagar, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Dolpa. According to him, the injured in the accident are Bhakta Bahadur Budhathoki, 40, a resident of Jagadulla-6, Jhyakot, his 6-year-old son Sujan Budhathoki, 36-year-old Bhim Bahadur DC, a resident of Gurbhakot Municipality-9, Surkhet, and the driver Dharmaraj Giri, 32, a resident of Chandannath Municipality-9, Jumla. The injured are being treated at the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences, Jumla, and their condition is normal, according to the police.
