Triveni Rural Municipality-4 has distributed eggs and Horlicks as a token of respect to 122 senior citizens and people with disabilities within the ward.
With the aim of providing nutritional support, the ward office has distributed one carat egg and Horlicks to senior citizens.
Recently, the young generation has gone abroad for employment and senior citizens at home are deprived of nutritious food, which has led to a lack of health and nutrition, so ward chair Chhabi Kumar Sharma said that one carat egg and Horlicks were distributed to senior citizens and people with disabilities.
He informed that health check-ups of senior citizens and people with disabilities were also conducted. He said that the ward has been honoring and supporting senior citizens by organizing various programs every year.
