The Kalikot Congress has recommended the names of three people, including youth leader Bhupendra Jung Shahi, for the upcoming House of Representatives elections to be held on February 21.
Party Secretary Matrika Singh said that the names of 3 people were recommended from the District Performance Committee meeting. 'There were many aspirants,' he said, 'We recommended 3 people including young leader Bhupendra Jung Shahi and sent their names to the center.'
According to the list sent to President Sher Bahadur Deuba, the direct candidates for the House of Representatives are young leader Bhupendra, party president Amba Bahadur Shahi, and women's leader Sita Rawal.
Similarly, Kali Bahadur Sahakari (Khas-Arya), Sushila Shahi Bam (woman) and Man Bahadur Nepali (Dalit) have been recommended for the proportional representation of the House of Representatives.
