The skeleton of 36-year-old Tek Bahadur Wali of Panikhana, Bagchaur Municipality-4, Salyan, who went missing after leaving home to attend a fair, has been found after a month and a half.
Wali had left his home on Kartik 14 to attend the fair in Tribeni, Darma Rural Municipality-5, Salyan.
Ward Chairman Krishna Bahadur Basnet of Bagchaur Municipality-4 said that Wali's skeleton was found in the forest near the border area of Salyan and Rukum and Jhanda Hannen, Tribeni Rural Municipality-3, Rukum.
Chairman Basnet informed that the body of Wali, who had been missing for one and a half months, was confirmed from the clothes, necklaces and papers in his purse.
According to Ward Chairman Basnet, his skeleton has now been taken to the District Hospital, Rukum West for a postmortem. 'The search for Wali, who has been missing since he went to attend the fair, was being carried out by the police and relatives. The skeleton of Wali, who died, was found while searching after locals informed that a person's body was found in the forest above Bafukhola in Bagchaur-12,' he said.
