Police have seized a JCB while it was being used for illegal sand mining. Police seized a JCB (Ra 1 Ka 937) from Zoomkhola, Kalimati Rural Municipality-5, Salyan on Thursday evening.
The JCB temporary police post was placed in the sand, said District Police Office Salyan Chief Hem Bahadur KC. He informed that it was taken under control because sand mining using JCBs from the river is not allowed.
Even before this, the police had taken control of two JCBs from different places in Salyan and taken action, said Police Chief Deputy Superintendent of Police KC.
