A motorcyclist died in a road accident in Surkhet on Wednesday evening. The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Mahesh Sapkota of Birendranagar Municipality-7.

A school bus (B.P.01004 Ka 5574) of the Army Residential College Mangalgadhi Surkhet, which was coming towards Neware from Pritana Road, hit a motorcycle (Bh. 8 Pa. 429) going in the opposite direction, Surkhet Police Spokesperson DSP Mohan Jung Budhapa said.
He said that the police have taken the vehicle and the bus driver, Rajendra Bahadur Shahi, under control.
