Applications have been invited for the post of Member Secretary of the Karnali Sports Council. The Ministry of Social Development of the province issued a notice on Tuesday inviting applications.
After 11 months of vacancy of the post of Member Secretary, the Sports Development Council has invited applications for the post of Member Secretary. The ministry has stated that interested Nepalis who meet the qualifications for the post of Member Secretary can submit their applications within 15 days.
The ministry has stated that a notification has been issued in accordance with the Karnali Province Sports Development Act, 2076 BS and that the process will be taken forward after receiving the applications as per the provisions of the same act.
Earlier, the provincial government had appointed a 10th level employee as the Member Secretary. However, this decision was overturned by the court.
