Sannitriveni Rural Municipality of Kalikot has started administrative services from its own building. The 21-room new administrative building, which took three years to build, was formally inaugurated by Karnali Province Chief Minister Yamalal Kandel on Monday.

For the construction of the building, 31 locals of Sannitriveni-6 Mehelmudi had given 8,000 square meters of land free of charge for the municipality building. Then, a contract agreement was signed in 2079 Shrawan.

Chief Minister Kandel congratulated the people of Sannitriveni for the construction of a quality building that provides services to the citizens from one place to bring the rights of Singha Durbar to the doorsteps of the people. 'It is not just a big deal to build a physical structure, we should also be equally careful about its preservation,' he said. 

The total cost of the construction of the 3-storey, 22-room rural municipality building including the assembly hall was 82.46 million, 6623, but the contractor took the contract for 78.844 million, 948, said the rural municipality's Chief Administrative Officer Prem Bahadur Baduwal. He informed that the municipality has already paid 77.55 million, 250 thousand.
