A tractor driver died in a tractor accident in Salyan on Wednesday night around 8:15 pm. The tractor (Ra 1 Ta 2438) coming from Lekhpokhara, Chhatreswari Rural Municipality-5, Lanti, met with an accident near Dhorlachaur in Chhatreswari. The driver, 25-year-old Devendra Singh Rawat, died.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Ham Bahadur KC, a police team has reached the spot and is investigating, and preparations are underway to bring the body to the District Hospital, Salyan for a postmortem.
Pranau KC informed that the tractor that crashed due to uncontrolled movement fell 15 meters off the road. Rawat, a resident of Chhatreswari-6, Gode, was the only person on board the tractor.
